Safari Poof

So when I read about the makeover prompt for Safari my first thought was 'PANDA LOLITA' because I'm predictable and I don't even care. But this ran into the immediate problem in that lolita is not the best clothing to be running around with various animal powers, but I didn't let that stop me at all. In fact when she has a new power the pandas at the bottom turn into that animal (only with tiny yellow bows). I always thought that part of her regular outfit was hilarious and fitting and really, really cute. 

I went with a more classic lolita feeling, deciding that the faint pastel of sweet lolita might show too much dirt, I picked colors based on her normal outfit, green, blue (the yellow was only supposed to be an accent color but it kind of got out of hand). While they aren't the same shades/brightness I think it works, classic lolita tends to be more muted in generally anyway so I knew that going in. 

I was thinking about trying to do some sort of hair accessory but I couldn't figure out what I wanted to draw. I was think hat but then bows or a headband, I couldn't make that executive decision so I just ignored it OTL 

I had fun imagining this, however, as is always the problem, I can't show the super detail I imagined in the frames surrounding the panda's and usually when a print has animals they have like very detailed drawings, same with ribbons and such, here its very simplified. Actually I've seen artistic prints on tights too...so the real thing would be easily 20X better than what I could draw here. And I totally want it, I would wear this so hard. 

In terms of makeup I love, loveee the freckles so I didn't want to cover them up, but they might be a bit faint and understated. With a pink lipstick that doesn't overwhelm but bright eyeshadow that would pop her eyes. (It's yellow, blue and green but they are blended together slightly) Her hair is curled (but her hair might be too short, if so pretend it is a wig...) honestly not too much in terms of actual 'make up' in this makeover but I think she's ready for a parasol and some met ups!
